In Profitability Manager 11i, you are running an FEM_BALANCES Percent Distribution Mapping Rule to assign new values to a dimension column by matching on two other dimension columns and assigning the appropriate value.  For example, you want to assign a new value to User Dimension10 by matching on the values in User Dimension02 and User Dimension03.  In the Percent Distribution screen, User Dimemsion02 and User Dimension03 are set to "Matching Dimensions" while User Dimension10 is set to "Percent Distribution.  The driver value is "1" to keep the balances the same.

However, the outputted balances are not remaining the same.  Instead, they are all being multiplied by a number that appears to be the same as the number of dimension values selected in a Hierarchy Dimension Component using "Node and Descendants Of" on the Source data.  For example, if there are 27 company values included under the "Node and Descendants Of" selection in the Hierarchy Component, the outputted balances are all 27 times the original balance.

For example, when you input record has User Dim02 = 1100 and User Dim03 = 2500, set User Dim10 to "Midwest Center" while keeping the balance the same at $10,000. While the output record does have User Dim10 = "Midwest Center", the xtd_balance_f is now $270,000 instead of $10,000.
