Symptoms

On the current windows machine customer already has a demantra installation that is connecting to a database. He is now trying to install a new Demantra instance which will connect to another database

His installer is hanging at the step of Importing Data and not moving forward

If they choose Full Install - Import goes through.

This is what he is choosing for the install:

1) Component Based Licensing - When following components are licensed import hangs -

a.Collaborator Workbench
b. Real Time Sales & Operations Planning. Uncheck Demantra Anywhere
c. Demand Management
d. Demantra Foundation Documentation
e. Advanced Forecasting and Demand Modeling
f. Web Server

The error in the logs are:

2010-05-18 11:09:46,698 [DEBUG] - STDERR> With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
2010-05-18 11:09:46,714 [DEBUG] - STDERR>
2010-05-18 11:09:46,714 [DEBUG] - STDERR> IMP-00002: failed to open D:\DEMSND7.3\Demand Planner\Database Objects\Oracle Server\dumps\rtsnop_demo_730.dmp for read

When we go to D:\DEMSND7.3\Demand Planner\Database Objects\Oracle Server\dumps\ see the following files:

bal_730.dmp
dump_rtsnop.zip

The file rtsnop_demo_730.dmp does not exists

When we unzip the  dump_rtsnop.zip which brought in rtsnop_demo_730.dmp

After that I restarted the installer, choose replace schema and this time the installer goes through fine

But for it go through, user had to manually unzip the file rtsnop_demo_730.zip and restart the installer which the installer did not do
