Last updated on AUGUST 10, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Objectel - Version 2.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The effected issue demonstrated by this article happens when using Solaris Environment and Objectel 2.10.2. However, if the signal mapping is not correctly, other unexpected errors can occur in other environment as well.

The issue is happening with any Frame Relay signal type. Also, the server is crashing a stack trace is generated.
When you input a value different from 0 in the Override Capacity column for the Statistic signals then the Objectel Server is crashing when the you try to create a facility that uses the Statistic signals.

For example, the steps below demonstrate how to reproduce the error:

1- Select a ATM Signal type in the Metadata->Signal Mapping View. For example, the 155Mpbs signal
2- Insert any Override Capacity value in the Override Capacity Column
3- Export the xml and deploy it in the Objectel server
4- Create a facility with the signal 155Mpbs

Result: When trying to add and External Connection to the facility the Server crashes.

Objectel supports the following Statistics signals:

  • ATM
  • SDH
  • IP
  • Frame Relay
  • MetroEthernet
