Average Daily Usage Calculated Incorrectly For Interval Data
Last updated on JULY 07, 2010
Applies to:
Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version: 1.5.0.4Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When Interval Data is uploaded, the system automatically calculates (and fills in) the "Average Daily Usage" field in "Meter Data Channel" table. To calculate the Average Daily Usage (ADU) for the current reading. ADU is equal to the Total
Energy for the reading, divided by the number of days for the reading.
If you take a cut that is made of 24 hourly intervals. The expected Average Daily Usage is 24
* 100 = 2400 Kwh. Instead the system comes up with 2400.28 Kwh.
