Symptoms

When we compare the total of amounts in Ledger_report_accts_t for each item with their actual item_total from item_t, we find a difference between the two.

The issue may not be consistently reproducible, but may be observed at random in a production-like environment. See below for a sample scenario.

Scenario :

1) Run the pin_ledger_report in billed mode for a certain timespan :
Ex: pin_ledger_report -mode run_report -start 01/28/2010 -end 02/04/2010 -type billed -detail
2) Analyze the data in "ledger_report_accts_t" for that run of pin_ledger_report
3) Calculate the total amounts for each of the "items" in the "ledger_report_accts_t" for that run of pin_ledger_report
4) Compare the calculated total amounts from the above step with the item_total of the corresponding items from item_t
5) A difference is found between the two amounts.

Expected result :

The total amounts in Ledger_report_accts_t for each of the item must match with those of the item_total of the corresponding items

Additional Notes:
*  Below is what is being compared :

SUM((ledger_report_accts_t.DB_AR_NET_AMT -
ledger_report_accts_t.CR_AR_NET_AMT) + (ledger_report_accts_t.DB_AR_TAX_AMT
- ledger_report_accts_t.CR_AR_TAX_AMT))
from ledger_report_accts_t

WITH

(item_t.item_total- item_t.delta_due) from item_t for each of the item_no's.

*  Of course, per item, the difference could be in a decimal value (like 0.01). But the total difference, when comparing the ledger amounts and the item_total, adds up to a whole figure (say 2 EUR). The  expectation is to see a zero difference.
*  Out of a 100,000 items, maybe 100+ have such discrepancy
