Errors Seen After Objectel 2.7.14 B96 Is Installed (Doc ID 1159723.1)

Symptoms

In other to evaluate if your Objectel installation was successfully completed, you can check the installation log located in the OBJECTEL_HOME directory. This article, describes a very unusual problem that happens when the Objectel DB user has not the proper privileges.



After installation an Exception in the installation log file were found.
The following piece of the log shows the Exception found.

(01-Jul-2010 20:49:17), Setup.product.install, com.metasolv.objectel.install.WeblogicConfig, err, Check Sufficient Privilege is for the user to access the Oracle database ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
