AERS 4.6 Creates Duplicate DISPLAY_NBR Values For Multi-Record Blocks Causing Reporting Issues (Doc ID 1162513.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2010

Applies to:

Adverse Event Reporting System - Version: 4.6.1 and later   [Release: 4.6 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

AERS 4.6.1

The system can create duplicate DISPLAY_NBR values in the table AE_DOSAGES.

This can happen in other multi-record blocks as well.

Most often this occurs in migrated or imported cases, but we've seen this happen in cases also created directly within AERS.

The result is multiple records in a case can have the same display numbers.

This causes reporting issues (sometimes failing E2Bs).

Re-sequencing the records seems to correct the problem.
