(Doc ID 1165309.1)
Last updated on JUNE 28, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 5.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Normally, when an external user receives an automatic response - for example, from a user who set up a vacation message, the sender field of the message contains an empty sender (ie. it is blank). This is normal behavior.
For this particular customer, external users were not receiving these automatic responses from the customer site.
Any automatic responses to internal users were fine. The problem was specific to when the mail messages traveled outside of the customer's site.
Changes
The customer upgraded the firmware on the Barracuda system.
