ASCP plan - Demand Exploding Incorrectly (Doc ID 1171333.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Two end items M1001 and M1003 are made up of two subassemblies: 200620SUB and 200621SUB with a per qty of 1 each.  Both subassemblies use component 6689772.

So for example:
|_ 200620SUB - qty of 1
  |_ 6689772 - qty of 1
|_ 206621SUB - qty of 1
  |_ 6689772 - qty of 1

The same structure is true for M1003

So when there is demand for M1003 for 50 and demand for M1001 for 100, the gross requirements on 200620SUB and 200621SUB are 150 each and the gross requirements for 6689772 is 300.
This works fine for the data files uploaded from plan 'data3' in which the planning horizon was set to 120 days.

When the daily buckets are increased to 180 days, the output is different. In bucket 3-AUG-10, the demand for M1003 is 50 and there is no demand for M1001. Yet the gross requirements for both subassemblies are 100 leading to gross requirements for 6689772 for a quantity of 200. Subsequent buckets are showing similar inconsistent behavior such as demand of 100 in bucket 06-AUG-10 for M1001 and no demand for M1003. There are no planned orders generated for the subassemblies nor the lower level component.
