Relation Lists Showing Sometimes All Records of the Relation Table (Doc ID 1197916.1)

Last updated on MARCH 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management - Version 6.1.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Agile EDM 6.1.1 with the Java Client
Find that sometimes in sub lists not only the relation records from the father are visible but all records of that relation mask in the DB.

This is caused by a wrong select statement (visible in the SQL trace) that misses the where condition for the father record (example: WHERE ... T_MASTER_DOC.C_ID_1 = 1227764691).

Usually this scenario is working but only sporadically this issue happens.
If it happens it can be that the mask is totally defective and the user needs to restart the client before the effect is gone.
Sometimes it can happen that the user only needs to close that mask and click a bit around opening other masks and when he comes back to that sub list it behaves normal again.

The issue cannot be reproduced at will but it happens from time to time.
