Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 2.2.0 to 4.3.0 [Release 2.2 to 4.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

One or more fields, added in a control plan with the Set BE EDR node, are missing from the EDR.

There may not be an error message unless ACS debug is enabled. With debug this message sequence is seen:

2010/08/29 22:26:14 AddEDRField.cc 309 [5976] acsChassisActions Added to ACS cdr 'EVENT_COUNT=1'
2010/08/29 22:26:14 AddEDRField.cc 321 [5976] acsChassisActions EDR buffer not big enough for new field !

Note: It may be necessary to duplicate the problem in a model environment with debug enabled. See note 1277843.1 for more information on enabling debug. Enabling debug in production is not recommended.
