Over 3000 Jobs In The Reports Queue Why? (Doc ID 1202993.1)

Goal

Examining the reports queue it appears that a user somehow submitted over 3000 jobs to the reports queue and you can't kill them. To clear out these jobs you have logged into the report queue manager with the admin login but it appears to hang when you try to kill them.

To fix this you had to reboot the reports server and then restart the reports service. This seems to have been successful in helping you to delete the jobs in batches.

Why are so many jobs getting generated? Is this normal functionality or is there something wrong which should be corrected?
