ASAP Is Going Down With Ct_results(): Network Packet Layer Error (Doc ID 1209477.1)

Symptoms

The CTRL server terminates without any error messages in diag file.

The ASAP.Console reveals:

Failed to Open Control Program File: Value too large for defined data type
Error: initialize() Failed, Stopping Process [CTRLPR01]
SQL> select ALARM_CODE, DESCRIPTION, ALARM_LEVEL, AUTO_CLEAR FROM TBL_SYSTEM_ALARM;


The CTRL diag:

Successfully parsed PLSQL block cursor
