Pin_rerate Makes Multiple Events When More Than One Rate Plan Are Configured In A Rate Plan Selector (Doc ID 1222484.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.4.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If we execute pin_rerate to a Cycle Forward Event (current or closed cycle) configured in a Rate Plan Selector containing "more than one" Rate Plan, it has the following behavior:
1) It makes the backout event correctly.
2) It makes a new Cycle Forward event "per each" Rate Plan configured in the RatePlanSelector (when just one of them meet the selection criteria).

Why pin_rerate repeats the events when just one is expected ?
