OFSAA 5.1 Financial Services Global Preferences Link Missing and Application Preferences Causes Java Error with AIX Websphere (Doc ID 1222863.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI) 7.1/5.1 after new installation of OFSAAI, FTP and PFT, when attempting to set global preferences, the global preference link does not appear. When trying to set application preferenece, java error occurs:

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install OFSAAI
2. Install FTP and PFT
3. Attempt to set Application Preferences

New OFSAAI and FTP/PFT installation.
