Java.lang.NullPointerException Error Clicking on ANSI Join in Define Extracts Screen

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), in the Data Integrator > Source Designer > Define Extracts screen, when you select an extract and click on the ANSI Join button to update the join, the following error occurs:

You have already increased the amout of Java memory available on both the server and your PC as described in My Oracle Support <> "OFSAAI Application Freezes While Attempting to Define Simple Data Entry Form".  The error continues to occur.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Unified Metadata Manager > Technical Metadata Management > Date Integrator
  2. Go to Source Designer > Define Extracts > FUSION_APPS > STAGING_SOURCE_T2T
  3. Double click on an extract
  4. Click on the ANSI Join button

The "java.lang.NullPointerException" error occurs.
