Goal
During the upgrade from CC&B 1.5.20 to CC&B 2.3.1, field ALLOW-CR-NOTE-SW of CICTINST (row-maintenance copybook of C0_INSTALLATION) is deprecated. Some of the custom codes do not compile. Since this functionality is needed to determine if the credit note button in billing display has to be protected, is there a standard functionality replacing it?
The CCB 2.3.0 Release Notes mention that the column ALLOW_CR_NOTE_SW will be dropped from the Installation Options table (C0_INSTALLATION). A new column (BILL_CORR_OPT_FLG) has been added to this table. However, the column added is not a YES/NO field. The current value is "C1CR". Upon reading the copybook of C0_INSTALLATION (CICTINCT), there are 2 different values: BILL-CORR-OPT-CORR-NOTE and BILL-CORR-OPT-CR-NOTE. What is the difference? Is BILL-CORR-OPT-CR-NOTE the one that allows the creation of credit note? From the functional point of view, is it the same thing?
