Incorrect Calculations When Using Term Ranges for OFSAA FTP Formula Based Adjustment Rules (Doc ID 1234933.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 13, 2010

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing - Version: 5.1 and later   [Release: 5 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI) - Version 7.1
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) - Version 5.1

On Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) 5.1, when attempting to generate correct results for an Adjustment transfer pricing rule which uses a formula based range, it appears that the instruments fall into the wrong range.

For example:

When origination_date =13/03/2008 and maturity_date=13/03/2011 it falls in the < x <= 4 range, when it should fall into the 3 Y org term 2 < X <=3 range.

Expect the instruments to fall into the correct range as defined in the Adjustment rule formula.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Adjustment Rule - Formula Based Rate
2. Reference Term - Original Term
