My Desktop Problems (Slow Logon and Partial White Screen) Using MetaSolv Solution with SSL/"https" Protocol (Doc ID 1242254.1)

Symptoms

MetaSolv Solution's My Desktop takes approximately 4-8 minutes to display after login.  Occasionally, My Desktop does not display and there is just a white screen (see screenshot below) in its place.  The behavior occurs when the WebLogic domain is configured to use SSL and MetaSolv Solution is connected to the server using the "https" protocol.

 

Changes

WebLogic domain was configured to use SSL (https) per Chapter 7: Post installation tasks of the MetaSolv Solution Setup Guide; section titled "Encrypting network traffic".
