Purpose
The following document lists steps that can be taken to ensure best platform efficiency of the OCNCC solution during periods of high traffic, such as holiday/festival periods. It has particular relevance to systems that are at or near to their maximum planned capacity.
Note: The listed steps should be planned and implemented well in advance.
Scope
Refers to the CGBU Network Charging and Control (OCNCC) family of products. In particular:
- Oracle Communications Prepaid Charging, previously Charging Control Services (CCS)
- Voucher and Wallet Server (VWS), previously Billing and Rating Engine (BE)
- Network Signalling Control
It does not include reference to the Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) solution.
