Enable Selective Debug on the slee_acs Process (Doc ID 1255675.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 25, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 3.1.0 and later
Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This Document explains how to use the call tracing capabilities of Charging and Control's Advanced Control Services (ACS) component, which can be used to produce selective debug output, on a Service Logic Controller (SLC), based on the incoming (originating) and/or outgoing (destination) number.  Call tracing can dynamically be enabled or disabled without a Service restart.

The traced calls debug output is only internal to the SLC's slee_acs process(es) and not the connecting network interfaces.  Debug output is generally requested by Support when tracking issues with hard to find faults.
