Purpose

We will discuss details regarding Oracle Demantra Parallel processing.  There are three areas that can be tuned to take advantage of parallel processing:

1. General Parallel Processing Topics

2. RDBMS

3. Data Loading

4. Engine Performance

We will discuss each of these areas and provide you with helpful tips to implement and debug parallel implementations.

The next revision will dig in deep to the database object worksheet_hints and hints in general.  Plus it will provide configuration examples by scenario.  Large, Medium, Small for example.
