Oracle Communications Network Integrity 7.0 Launch

Oracle Communications Network Integrity 7.0, launched at Oracle OpenWorld last month and well received by the market, is now generally available for the communications market. Oracle Communications Network Integrity (NI) 7.0 is a significant advance in not just the discovery and reconciliation space but also the architecture of B/OSS applications. With simplified deployment, it rapidly provides business benefits and enables cost effective operations; specifically it lets operators:

  • Identify stranded assets – saving unnecessary capital expenditure
  • Minimize fallout in flow through service fulfillment through data accuracy
  • Ensure inventory accuracy for efficient operations and planning
  • Automate manual and error prone procedures
  • Synchronize Front- and Back-office systems for improved customer experience

NI 7.0 is a flexible and open application and is a key component of the Service Fulfillment solution. It is a Fusion 11g compliant application and is pre-integrated with Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management (UIM). This strategic release extends NI from only maintaining traditional network-to-inventory data accuracy to data integrity across all BSS, OSS and network entities, maximizing the products value and delivering substantial business-wide benefits to service providers.

NI 7.0 delivers upon key themes to drive market leadership

  • Consolidates two existing applications (Network Discovery 5.1 and Network Integrity 3.6) into a single application for discovery, import, discrepancy management and resolution
  • Integrates to any inventory system and is architecturally aligned and pre-integrated with UIM
  • Intuitive converged solution across front- and back-office systems and network technologies
  • Powerful cartridge-driven extensibility via Design Studio – aligning with ASAP, OSM, UIM
  • Powerful new discrepancy search and management features
