Symptoms

The following warning is occuring for the NRTT Collection Cartridges of the NMD sporadically every hour for the customer:-

2009-04-27 09:00:01; Warning; Resources; Error opening file; Couldn't open
the local file: [A090427080062GCDR.tmp]: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/data/input/mscbbn/gcdr/AmaDirpDir/A090427080062GCDR.tmp

The files (GDCR + GHOT) were transfered and closed from the SDM-FT every hour.

It was explained that this error will only occur if the CC is unable to access the file.
From the description they have given, what we can imagine happening is in the short moment when SDM renames the A*GHOT.tmp file, there are 2 activites happening in between:-

1) CC checks if the *.tmp file still exists
2) CC wants to collect the new data out of this file.

Because the file has been renamed in the meantime it cannot be accessed and the CC raises the alarm.

Ideally, an alarm should not be raised for this.
