Error Loading Jar After Installing FW SP8 And CCB SP7 java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError (Doc ID 1264501.1)

Goal

After installing the Service Packs 8 (for FW) and 7 (for CCB) the following error is encountered:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/logging/LogFactory.


The commons-logging jar is in the application Classpath as well as being present in the folder splapp/standalone/lib, XAIApp.war and SPLApp.war.

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/logging/LogFactory
at weblogic.rmi.internal.ServerRequest.sendReceive(ServerRequest.java:205)


The error starts occurring as soon as the application boots up.
