Goal
Configuring Oracle Clinical Remote Data Capture Onsite 4.5.3 for Performance and Scalability section 3.5 Increasing the Java Virtual Machine Heap Size says:
Due to limitations of the Windows operating system, the values for heap memory are limited to approximately 1.5 GB (may be less on some system configurations). If you specify higher values, the OC4J instance will fail to start. You need to edit the Java options again to reduce the -Xmx value.
RDC Onsite 4.5.3 running a single JVM with 1 GB of heap size (–Xms1024M –Xmx1024M) can support approximately 75 users.
Question: With 1.5 Gb of heap size set how many users are then approximately supported?
