Incorrectly Terminated ALM Process Prevents New Processes From Launching (Doc ID 1265463.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management - Version 5.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) - Version 5.1

On Asset Liability Management (ALM), after running an ALM Static Deterministic Process where "Autobalancing" was selected with invalid Autobalancing settings in the Application Preferences, it appears that all further ALM executions will no longer run.

The last statement in the failing ALM Debug log:

Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: Disconnect: Not all ORACLE driver
copies destroyed!

Expect all correct ALM processes to complete.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run bad ALM process with incorrect Autobalancing option selected.
2. Run second correct ALM process.

==> No new processes launched now complete.
