How to change the Tomcat memory settings (when Tomcat is installed on Windows as system service)?

A Java Virtual Machine on a 32-bit operating system typically has a maximum heap size setting of 64Mb. This initial heap size is small and might cause java.lang.OutOfMemoryError or Java heap space errors.
