Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Background

The ACS Management Control Plan is delivered with ACS (Advanced Control Services), and can be used to make changes to Service Numbers over the phone using IVR (Interactive Voice Response) prompts and text entry.

Actions include:
  • Changing the terminating number of an Unconditional Terminate or Terminate to Pending Node.
  • Altering the exit of a Dynamic Switch Node in another Control Plan.
A number of additional conditions must be met to use the "ACS Management" Control Plan successfully; see the ACS User Guide for more information.

Initial Symptom

The ACS Self-Care Control Plan does not change the Dynamic Switch node exit of a Control Plan, despite the EDR record indicating everything was successful.

Additional Symptom

The syslog (/var/adm/messages) may report the following error at the time of the failure:

Nov 22 02:25:45 uas01 slee_acs: [ID 675952 user.error] slee_acs(4086) ERROR: acsSLEEChassis_t::doAction: Unknown action code 0 invoked. Dropping call.

Changes

The ACS Management Control Plan is being used for the first time, or is working with a copy of this Control Plan.
