The Default Fund Allocation Record Of A Plan Is Missing From The Asallocation Table In Adminserver (Doc ID 1268848.1)

Symptoms


The default plan-level fund allocation is being deleted from the AsAllocation table. This is caused by modifying the pricing model of a new contract when no fund allocation has been defined.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new contract, Policy drop down, New
2. After saving the new contract, run the following SQL:


select ROWNUM, pl.PlanName, fu.FundName, al.TypeCode
from AsPlan pl
join asAllocation al
ON al.RelatedGuid = pl.PlanGuid
AND al.TypeCode = '01'
join AsFund fu
ON fu.FundGuid = al.FundGuid
ORDER BY ROWNUM;

3. Modify the contract to use a new pricing model and run the SQL again. The results will show one less Plan than previously returned.

Impact to the client:
When the problem occurs, it prevents sales representatives from issuing new contracts for the plan for which the default fund allocation is missing.
