Error 'Encryption is enabled but there is no encrypted key in the request' When Running Applications that Connect to P6 Web Services (Doc ID 1270466.1)

Symptoms

The following errors may occur when running an application that uses P6 Web Services or the demo application for P6 Web Services

Encryption is enabled but there is no encrypted key in the request.

Signed message is required but no signatures are present in the message.

Could not send message
 

 

One of the following errors will also be seen in the application server's console or logs at the time of the error:

SEVERE: Error while trying to perform authentication: Encryption is enabled but there is no encrypted key in the request.
com.primavera.ws.security.d: Encryption is enabled but there is no encrypted key in the request.
org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: Encryption is enabled but there is no encrypted key in the request.

SEVERE: Signed message is required but no signatures are present in the message

SEVERE: Error while trying to perform authentication: Signed message is required but no signatures are present in the message.
com.primaverqa.ws.security.d: Signed message is required but no signatures are present in the message.
org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: Signed message is required by no signatures are present in the message.
