In Profitability Manager 11i, you accidentally loaded two dimension members with the same dimension code value.  This was possible because one member's code had trailing spaces and the Dimension Member Loader program will load a duplicate value if it has trailing spaces.  Now, when you try to disable one of the members, you receive the following error at the top of the screen:

<member> already exists. Please enter a valid value.

This error prevents you from disabling the duplicate member with trailing spaces.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Log into the Profitability Manager responsibility
  2. Go to Process Management > Requests > Submit Request
  3. Use the Dimension Member Loader program to load two values with the same code - one code with trailing spaces
  4. Go to Business Rule > Dimension > Members and select the appropriate dimension
  5. Search for the duplicate dimension members
  6. Click on Update for the member with the trailing spaces and un-check the Enabled Flag
The error message appears at the top of the screen.
