Mapping Rules with Attribute Dimension Component Are Excluding Balances (Doc ID 1286199.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2011

Applies to:

Oracle Profitability Manager - Version: and later   [Release: 11.5 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Profitability Manager 11i, a Mapping Rule is dropping balances from the output.  In the Source selection, one or more dimensions use a dimension component that selects specific Attribute values.  An issue with the attribute dimension component appears to impact the results as the missing balances are tied to dimension values associated with the component.  For example, a rule contains an attribute dimension component on the Company Cost Center Org dimension.  The rule output is excluding some Company Cost Center Org values incorrectly and, as a result, their balances are missing from the results.  You expect the mapping rule output to include the balances tied to the dimension values associated with the attribute dimension component.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Go to the Profitability Manager responsibility
  2. Go to Business Rule > Mapping
  3. Open and run a Mapping Rule using an attribute dimension component
