How To Delete A Workflow Step (Doc ID 1294197.1)

Goal

Sometimes, particularly in non-production systems, it is necessary to delete a workflow step. In Argus Safety it is critical that all parent-child records are deleted in the correct order to successfully remove the workflow step.

 
NOTE: We do not advise the deletion of a workflow step if it has already been used to route a case.  This will impact several components including Audit Log, Case Revisions and various Dashboard reports that depend on Workflow status to calculate time periods.  If the relevant workflow step has been deleted, these calculations will not occur and/or cases will be omitted inadvertently from reports.
