Refund Is Not Prorated Properly For a Product Using TCF (Doc ID 1294974.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version: 220.127.116.11.1 and later [Release: 7.3.0 and later ] Information in this document applies to any platform.
When an account is created, it is created in the active state and prorated cycle fees are charged. The Telco provisioning framework then inactivates the account for provisioning, which creates a refund of the cycle fee. This refund should be prorated, but it's not. Instead, it's refunding the entire cycle fee. Logs from the account activation shows the call to commit customer, which shows the original charge (prorated) and the refund (not prorated). The product's proration is set for both purchase and cancellation.
