Outlook Connector - Personal Address book not working with Convergence1 ABS (Doc ID 1295804.1)

Symptoms

Outlook Connector will fail to make an successful address book connection.

End user experience

The Outlook Connector user will see an error: "unable to establish a session with Address Book Server". The same user, logged into Convergence, will access Address Books problem-free.

Log analysis

No error will be logged in the iwc.log.

An error will be logged in SJOC.log.


Changes

This problem affects only Convergence 1 patch-10. This was the patch level provided in Communcations Suite 7 (original). Customers could encounter this problem in several ways:
