MSCANAPP Analyze Plan Partitions Is Failing With ORA-20000 FDPSTP failed ORA-06512 (Doc ID 1298154.1)

Symptoms

Log file MSCCRPAR module: Create APS Partitions errors as follows:

ORACLE error 20000 in FDPSTP

Cause: FDPSTP failed due to ORA-20000: index "MSC"."MSC_PQ_RESULTS_N1" or partition of such index is in unusable state
ORA-06512: at "APPS.FND_STATS", line 2000
ORA-06512: at "APPS.MSC_MANAGE_PLAN_PARTITIONS", line 1488

How are the above errors resolved?

Changes

Profile "MSC: Scope of Analyze Plan Partition" works if the profile option is set to 'Plan Partition Only'; but it fails when the profile option is set to 'All Partitions'.
