As per the BRM documentation, PCM_OP_CUST_SET_BRANDINFO opcode can be used to change the brand of an account from say brand1 to brand2 but when we tried this opcode, it is giving error saying that "attempt to set_brandinfo for regular account!":

E Thu Feb 10 17:11:44 2011  brm-test-app01  cm:28357  fm_cust_brandinfo.c:194 1:<machine>:<program>:0:0:0:0:0
    attempt to set_brandinfo for regular account!
    <field num=0:0,0 recid=0 reserved=0 reserved2=0 time(sec:usec)=0:0>
    <facility=0 msg_id=0 version=0>

Note how we are NOT trying the case of changing the brand name of a brand account. We need to move a normal account, with PIN_FLD_ACCOUNT_TYPE = 1 (PIN_ACCOUNT_TYPE_STANDARD), from one brand to another brand.

How to use this opcode to change the brand of a customer account as we have a business scenario where we need to change the brand of customer accounts from one brand to another brand along with the respective devices attached.
