POS client froze for 3 minutes during an item lookup transaction. When the register froze, the cashier did an ALT-TAB to confirm that other applications were accessible. The ALT-TAB worked but the screen repainted very slowly. They ALT-TAB'ed back to the Point-Of-Service(POS) application and the top of the window said "(Not Responding)".
