User Unable to Add an Item to Invoice Details (Doc ID 1301001.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a new invoice and try to add an item to the detail record the following error occurs:

Unable to add invoice


Steps to recreate:

1. Find an Item with Value Added Tax (VAT) Rate value of Zero percent in Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
2. Create a purchase order for the item and ship/receive the purchase order.
3. In Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM), make sure the Tax Validation Type is RETLR in the system options.
4. Create a Merchandise Invoice on the purchase order from step 2.
5. Manually add the item that has zero vat rate (Don't default from order or receipts).
6. Failed to add an item to details screen.
