JENEP Goes Down When the Firewall Times Out the Network Connection To The Database (Doc ID 1306087.1)

Symptoms

When the ASAP system was under load the firewall timed out network connections that were idle for longer than 30 minutes. When this time out occurs it breaks the connection between the Java Enabled NEP and the database. When the JENEP tries to use one of these closed connections the JENEP goes down.
