Error on FSI_IRC_HYBRID_MERGE_LINEAR Generating Hybrid Interest Rate Code: (Doc ID 1307771.1)

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), you cannot generate a Hybrid Interest Rate Code (IRC).  You create a new Interest Rate Code with a Structure Type of Hybrid, go to the Hybrid Term Structure screen, and select two interest rate codes to combine.  After defining weights and interpolation information, when you click on the "Generate" button, the following error appears:

ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00201: identifier
'FSI_IRC_HYBRID_MERGE_LINEAR' must be declared ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored

The error prevents you from completing the Hybrid IRC setup.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Go to Master Maintenance > Rate Management > Interest Rates
  2. Click on Add
  3. Select a Structure Type of Hybrid
  4. In the Hybrid Term Structure screen, set Hybrid Curve Type = Merge and select two Interest Rate Codes.
  5. Enter Hybrid Term Structure Weights.
  6. Enter Interpolation information.
  7. Click on Generate.
The error appears.
