Administrative Screens to create users are provided within the web framework of the Oracle Utilities EIP. Some companies choose to create users in bulk using database scripts or other database tools. When records are inserted from the back end these ways using sql queries the password field is not encrypted as it would be if entering the record via the provided product screens. What is the recommended approach for encrypting these passwords?
