Error While Attempting To Cancel A Duplicated Component For Complex Promotions While Allowing Multiple Active Customer Segment Promotions

RPM is allowing multiple active customer segment promotions and when attempting to cancel one of the duplicated components the following error occurs.
Steps To Recreate:
1 . Create a promo event with start date equals to today
2 . Create a promo with start date equals to today with two components that are exactly as the below
--Start date equals to today, Component type is Multi Buy
--Both Components having the same Zone and Customer type
--Buy list : Quantity 3 (use the same item)
--Create a reward type = Fixed Price and apply reward to each buy list
--Approve both components
--Both components are in "Active status"
3 . Go to Promotion maintenance and select the first component. Select Action > Cancel and Update it.
