How to Force the Job Controller to Run the Queue Immediately (Doc ID 1314154.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 14, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How to cause the job_controller to try to deliver mail from a specific channel queue immediately.

See How to Monitor the MTA queues (Doc ID 1302956.1) for information about monitoring the channel queues and new features in Messaging Server 6.3 and later.

In general, you should not normally need to worry about this. But occasionally -- possibly for testing purposes -- you might want to cause messages in a channel queue, which are waiting to be tried later, to be tried immediately.
