SCA "Invalid State Machine" Error when Receiving a SIP BYE (Doc ID 1314395.1)

- SIP stands for Session Initiation Protocol
- SCA stands for SIP Call Agent

  1. The /var/adm/messages or SCA log files write this following error message:
    ERROR: ( 1500: State machine error; transition: IN_RELEASE_A, state: Closing
  2. Apart of call flow, we can see SIP proxy of A-Leg is flooding with BYEs message to the SCA, in normal circumstances this particular BYE message is only sent once.

The call flow above is drawn based on the real traffic which is captured by snoop.
