Symptoms :

Granting a template with only the read-only permission does not prevent a user who has this permission allocated (and so access to some screens) to double-click (for example) on some parts of the screens to bring the edit screen anyway.

However, it does indeed remove the "edit" or "save" button from the display of the lower pane.

So, it is possible for the user to edit and save (for example) the charge per minute in the billing period tab even though he should not be allowed to with only a read-only permission.
