Incorrect Reschedule Days for Purchase Orders in ASCP
(Doc ID 1319553.1)
Last updated on JULY 03, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 11.5.10 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Reschedule days - does not consider the receiving calendar. We use the Reschedule days parameter to find and select purchase orders which need to be rescheduled (in the workbench) the Need by date + Reschedule days <> Suggested dock date.
Except the first PO, where the current Need by date is in the past, the Reschedule days equal to Suggested due date - postprocessing LT, without looking at rec. calendar).
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
suggested due date = demand date (ie. production need by date, not PO need by date)
suggested dock date = suggested due date - postproc. LT
It seems that the old dock date = original PO need by date shifted so that it is on the receiving calendar open date. No postprocessing LT used. If no calendar is used, old dock date = orig. PO need by date, no shift by a LT.
If the reschedule days were calculated as sugg. dock - old dock (defined as mentioned above), what would be the usage of it? Fortunately, currently for PO which do not use the calendar, the old dock date = original PO need by date, which is what we need.
