Symptoms
Users reported problems when adding tasks after the DD task to a Provisioning Plan that has backdated or backward facing tasks.
Adding a task to such provisioning plans, and changing its dependencies, changes the backward dated tasks to (normal) forward dated tasks.
Also if you added a dependency from the DD task to another task via the PERT chart then all the backward facing tasks prior to the DD task
will change to forward dated, even though these tasks relationship to the DD did not change.
