Correcting devices that were discovered as duplicates or with the wrong IP address

Goal
In IPSA, under the "Tools" --> "Options" --> "Discovery" menu, the default setting is "Choose Loopback" for both PE and CE devices. However this might not always suit all customers since a device could be discovered on the correct management interface but this setting may change it. In some cases all that needs correcting is the device IP, in other cases a duplicate device may be seen. This note covers how to make a simple OIM script to solve both scenarios.
